All AHLA member companies, properties, and employees are eligible to submit an entry. Nonmembers will not be considered. For inquiries about your AHLA membership status please contact Member Services at membership@ahla.com or (202) 289-3100. 

​Specific award categories are given based on property categorization.

• Nominees can be either self or peer-nominated.  
• Support documentation may not exceed 10 pages.
• Photos and videos are strongly encouraged for submission. Videos may not exceed three minutes. If you are submitting video, please include the following:
  • Footage of your Nomniee working at their job
  • Footage of your Nominee answering these questions:
    • What is your name, at what hotel do you work, and what is your job at the hotel?
    • Why do you like your job?
    • How has your job been challenging/how have your responsibilities changed during the Covid-19 pandemic?
  • Footage of other staff answering the question: Why is this nominee a hotel hero to you and your property?
• Incomplete entries will not be considered.

To celebrate our industry’s hotel heroes, AHLA will feature submissions throughout the year in AHLA marketing, social media and member communications.
